Taiwanese-born director Ang Lee is probably best known for the English-language endeavors that got him his two directing Oscars (Life of Pi, Brokeback Mountain). But his most compelling works have tended to be the ones he’s made in Chinese (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Eat Drink Man Woman; Pushing Hands), and his 2007 film Lust, Caution is no exception to that.
